Music at Trinity – Paul Mugarura “Songs of the Storm” November 25th 2023 4pm
Paul Mugarura is a musician based in Ottawa, Ontario. He is a multi-instrumentalist who blends his classical training on piano with his love for classical music, gospel and neo soul; he has created an original sound that is reflective of his unique story. Paul grew up in Uganda and was an early pioneer of urban gospel groups and christian musicals. In addition to two personal projects he has released, Paul has fully produced, or contributed as a songwriter or instrumentalist on many more both in Kampala, Uganda, New York, and in Ottawa. Paul has been a music director with churches from various denominations in Ottawa for the past 20 years. He is the current worship leader at Greenbelt Baptist, and leads the afternoon service at Trinity Anglican. Paul will be performing a combination of freestyle improvisations and songs from a project he released in 2018 called "songs for the storm" on November 25th 2023 at 4pm. Freewill offering.
