The Prayers of the People:
Leader: God gives what is good.
People: Let us pray that this goodness flows through us into all the world.
Leader: In our Diocese, we pray today for St. James the Apostle, Carp, Christ Church, Huntley, St. John’s, Sixth Line, and for the staff of the Synod Administration Office. In our Companion Diocese of Jerusalem we pray for St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, Husun. As we move forward in our GIFT campaign, we pray O God that we remember that it is from you that every gift derives. You taught us that to serve you is to serve others. We ask that you continue to bless and sanctify the Growing in Faith Together campaign as an act of our faithfulness to you and that you will lead us to continue growing in faith together. For the needs of the whole Church that we name silently or aloud (pause). For John our Bishop, for all bishops, for Andrea our Priest, for all the clergy and people.
People: O God, your love is in motion. We praise the strength of your love.
Leader: Where there is hunger, raise up your love, and where there is hurt and persecution, empower your love O God.
People: Where there are false prophets, proclaim your love, and where there are lies, speak your love O God.
Leader: Where nations are angry and plot harm against one another, and where governments lie and deceive, bring your love O God.
People: Where powers cripple and destroy what you have made, bring your love O God.
Leader: Where the churches alienate one another, and when division and jealousy mark this assembly, bring your love O God.
People: Where our fears keep us from offering Christ to all the needy peoples, bring your love O God.
Leader: Within our Parish we pray for the sick and the suffering, especially (insert names), and for those we name silently or aloud (pause). We remember those who have died, especially (insert names), for those we name silently or aloud (pause). We pray for all in any need.
People: O Lord, increase our affection, increase our compassion, and our joy. Show us those we do not see, and magnify our love O God.
Leader: O God, we thank you for the power of divine love and for the presence of your love in one another. We celebrate the gift of motherhood, and give thanks for mothers everywhere.
People: Guide us all finally into that greatest love who is Christ our Lord. Amen.

FROSTY’S FAIR PLANNING MEETING: We realize summer hasn’t arrived and November seems so far away. However, time flies and we need to determine a date and who is available to help out. A planning meeting will be held at 11:15 TODAY in the Canterbury Room. The two new sheep (Brenda Cheeseman and Beulah Rumbolt) who are leading the flock this year would appreciate your input. We look forward to seeing you there.
THE MULTI-GRADERS (of the Church School) will be gathering with Rev. Andrea TODAY at 11:15 a.m. They have so many questions…and together we will look for the answers.
TRINITY ACW WILL BE PACKING BALES FOR THE NORTH on Wednesday, May 30th. There will be a basket at the back of the church for your generous donations. For more information on what items they are looking for, please see the notice on the bulletin board in Bender Hall or on the basket.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out to help with Trinity’s spring cleaning yesterday.
