People: Breathe in us, Breath of God. Amen.
Leader: Let us pray.
O holy God, we know the beauty of this June day and we are grateful. We experience the warm stirring of summer and the fullness of the bountiful earth, and we are grateful. We share the love of family and friends and the family and friendship that is our church and we are grateful. Let us now worship in joy and thanksgiving. Amen.

Prayers of the People:
Leader: God has always been there for us, loving us and calling us to be all that we can be. Let us tell God all about ourselves, not leaving anything out.
People: God, if we carry excess baggage on life’s journey, teach to us travel more simply. If our possessions own us, free us to trust you and share with others. If our need for control keeps us anxious and demanding, help us to relax.
If we carry loads of guilt, may we hand them over to you, trusting you to forgive us. God, make us simple: simple in trust, simple in life, simple in commitment to you. Prepare us for your mission. Allow us to join you in labour to heal the hurting, feed the hungry, and bring good news to the poor. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
The Sharing of the Peace:
Offertory Hymn #460
The Celebration of the Eucharist:
Eucharistic Prayer #2
Breaking of the Bread:
Celebrant: We break this bread,
to share in the body of Christ
People: We, being many, are one body,
For we all share in the one bread.
Prayer after Communion
Until we meet again, Walk gently in the way.
Dwell in the hollow of God’s hand:
Rejoice, and serve, and pray!
Closing Hymn #445
