Information for Newcomers

Trinity is a warm community that welcomes everyone – young and old, singles, large families, and everyone in between. Wherever you are in the journey of life and faith, our doors are open to you. We post our bulletins on our website at http://www.trinityottawa.ca/?cat=26, so feel free to take a look at what our services are like and what kind of hymns we sing.

From September to June, we worship at a 10 am service with choir and church school for children aged roughly from 3 to 13. Families with babies and toddlers are also welcome! We have a nursery area at the back of the church with colouring materials and children’s books. We also have an unsupervised nursery downstairs with a speaker so that you can hear the service if you feel your baby or toddler needs a change of scenery. Summer services are at 9:30 with church school.

We have a great children’s program. In addition to our church school we have a joint Jr. and Sr. Youth program with Church of the Ascension called Grapevine. It is a space to make new friends, connect scripture to our lives in practical and innovative ways, and to have fun!

We are a community that believes in service – volunteers assist with Out of the Cold, pastoral visits, campus ministry at Carleton, and more. Check out Serving our Community for more information.
