Our Church School runs throughout the year for children roughly aged 3-13. Adults and children remain together for about the first ten minutes of the 10:00 a.m. (9:30 a.m. summer) service on Sunday. At the beginning of the service, Rev. Arran invites the children up to the front to chat with him in Children’s Time.
We have a church school and two youth groups:
- Jr. Youth, grades 4-6
- Sr. Youth, grades 7-12
During the school year, we use the Spark Activate Faith Lectionary curriculum. During the summer we have a smaller group with one-room style programming.
After the Children’s Time, the children are invited to attend church school, where we engage in the same stories the adults are hearing, sing songs, play games, and make crafts as we grow as a community and connect what we are reading with our lives. Children rejoin the adults during communion for the remainder of the service.
Families with babies and toddlers are also welcome! We have a nursery area at the back of the church with colouring materials and children’s books. We also have an unsupervised nursery downstairs with a speaker so that you can hear the service if you feel your baby or toddler needs a change of scenery.
We invite you to visit us or contact our office and discover more about what Trinity offers your children.
If you have the talents of teaching and patience, please contact the church office about joining the church school team.
