FROSTY FAIR PLANNING:  Yes folks, it’s that time again – just as the tulips are starting to bloom!  But we need to settle who might do what – and when.  A planning meeting will be held after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, June 5th, in the Canterbury Room – please pick up a coffee and join us.  

RECORD OF YOUR DONATIONS:  Please pick up your letter containing a record of your donations for the first four months of 2011 at the back of the church.

TRUMPET, ORGAN AND PIANO CONCERT: Join us Friday, May 27th, at 7:30 p.m. for a concert of trumpet, organ and piano music. Featuring Craig Pedersen, trumpet, and Victoria Scott playing the organ and Trinity’s newly refurbished Heintzman piano. PARISH PICNIC, Sunday June 12th, at 10:00 a.m.  Our annual picnic of worship, fun and food will be at Brewer Park.  Please bring picnic food to share, drinks, lawn chairs, smiles and a friend.  If weather is iffy, call the church for confirmation of location.

DEADLINE FOR THE NEXT GRAPEVINE is May 17th for publication May 22nd   If you have any items to be included please send them to Sue Cherry at mail@trinityottawa.ca.

RECYCLING. Carleton’s campus food bank is collecting used cardboard egg cartons. They also collect used printer cartridges which they sell to a recycling program.  One cartridge enables them to provide dinner for a family of three. There will be a box at the back of the church where you can drop off either item. They will come by on a regular basis to pick up any donations.

 

CHANGE FOR CHANGE.  Don’t forget to drop all your spare change into the World Vision bucket for Sheila.  Check the scrap book for the latest updates on her progress.
