The Prayers of the People:
Leader: Through the power of God, John saw Jesus in spirit and truth.
People: For the power of God to be felt in our own times, let us offer our prayers of intercession.
Leader: In our Diocese, we pray today for St. John’s, March, St. Paul’s, Dunrobin, St. Mary’s, North March, for participants in the upcoming Diocesan Clergy Conference, and for all Parish Secretaries and Parish Administrators in the Diocese of Ottawa. For the needs of the whole Church that we name silently or aloud (silence). For John our bishop, for all bishops, for Andrea our Priest, for all the clergy and people, let us pray to the Lord. For the unity of the churches, and for their common witness to the possibility of faith, let us pray to the Lord.
People: For ourselves, our families, and our communities, who are daily faced with questions of faith, let us pray to the Lord.
Leader: Within our Parish we pray for the sick and the suffering, especially (insert names), and for those we name silently or aloud (silence), we pray to you O Lord. We remember those who have died, especially (insert names), for those we name silently or aloud (silence). Lord hear our prayer.
People: Increase our faith that we may see your works more clearly; purify our actions that we may reveal your love more surely. We ask this in the name of Jesus, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

CHANGE FOR CHANGE. Don’t forget to drop all your spare change into the World Vision bucket for Sheila. Check the scrap book for the latest updates on her progress.
