I am the vine, you are the branches, says the Lord. Those who abide in me, and I in them, bear much fruit.
John 15:5

Growing in Faith Together

Did you know that …GIFT will strengthen our congregation …connect us to the wider church …help us to hire an experienced children’s worker …with the diocese we will help support Ministry in the North …74% of the monies given to the diocese will come back to parishes in the form of grants …help us to open our doors to seniors, more children and young families. All this and so much more.

A big thank you to everyone who helped with the Out of the Cold supper last night.

Together, we served a nutritious, delicious dinner to 64 guests.

Solar Panel Update

In March our rooftop system produced 1.3 megawatt-hours (compared to 0.88 in February).  So far this year, we have produced 19% of the amount of electricity that we and Capital Day Care have used.

Did you know? Our agreement to sell electricity to Hydro Ottawa at a fixed rate runs until 2032.

From Rev. Andrea

Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the most important Christian festival, and the one celebrated with the greatest joy. Without Easter there would be no Christianity.

The week before Easter, known as Holy Week, is very special in the Christian tradition. The Sunday before Easter is Palm Sunday and the last three days before Easter are Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday respectively commemorate Jesus’ entry in Jerusalem, the Last Supper and the Crucifixion.

Please join me for the journey. Together we can travel the highs and lows of Holy Week and finish the journey with pure JOY.

A Little Bit about the Choir

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”

Love to sing?

Do you like to worship God with song?

Are you able to be at Trinity on Sunday morning for 8:45?

Then you are the perfect person to be part of The Choir…a group of dedicated folk who love to make harmony together. You don’t need to read music as music director Victoria Scott will help you. Yours truly can only learn songs by ear!

The choir meets from September to June and helps lead worship at the 10:00 a.m. service. Throughout the year, of course, are extra services such as Christmas and Easter.

If you are interested in learning more about this ministry please contact Victoria Scott on Sunday morning or at 613-730-5517 for more information.
